For consistency of care and continual improvement of our Clinic methods and programs, the People’s Health Clinic relies on having a Medical Director present during clinics, who oversees the volunteer providers and shares his knowledge of individual patients’ needs as well as the Clinic’s partnership programs and policies.
The People’s Health Clinic operates largely with volunteer medical and auxiliary personnel. In 2010, doctors and other volunteers donated over 4,800 hours in medical services to patients, saving the Clinic over $200,000!
We have a continual need for more medical providers. The number of patients we can see in a day depends on the number of physicians on the schedule. If you are a medical provider, please consider volunteering at one of our clinics, or collaborating with us to see patients at your own office.

PHC’s part-time Medical Director is Dr. Robert Pellegrine MD.
A retired physician with over 25 years’ experience, Dr. Pellegrine supervises the activities of the medical volunteers, offering continuity of care to PHC patients. In addition to caring for patients himself, he updates the Clinic’s policies and procedures to make the Clinic run more efficiently.
