FAQ for Patients

What is the People’s Health Clinic?

It is a nonprofit clinic that provides medical services to any uninsured residents of Summit and Wasatch Counties, regardless of nationality, race, sex or religious affiliation. People’s Health Clinic is funded by local citizens, businesses, churches and governments.
 


Where is the Clinic?

It is located at 650 Round Valley Drive off Highway 248 near Quinn’s Junction in Park City, Utah.

Do I need an appointment?

Yes. Please call (435) 333-1850 for an appointment. The receptionists speak English and Spanish.
The office hours are Tuesday, Wednesday, & Thursday -
9 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. and 1:00 pm. – 7 p.m. and Friday 9 a.m. – 12 p.m.
There are no Clinic hours on Fridays.

What services does the Clinic offer?

PHC treats patients in the areas of general medicine, pediatrics, chronic disease and prenatal care.  The Clinic has a large referral network, and makes every effort to connect patients with specialists as needed.  The Clinic also offers classes in chronic disease management and prenatal education.

 The Clinic does not provide emergency services or dental care.

What are the Clinic hours?

The Clinic is open Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and 1:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

Note: the Clinic is closed daily 12-1:30

Are there translators at the clinic?

Spanish translators are available. For other languages you must bring your own translator.
 


What do I need to bring with me to the Clinic?

You only need to provide a current address and a telephone number where you can be reached in person or by message. For your first appointment, you must bring any medical records you have or any medications you are taking. Remember, to be a patient at People’s Health Clinic,  you must live in Summit or Wasatch County, and you must be uninsured.


What is my cost to visit the clinic?

PHC relies on patients donations; your donations make up an important part of the Clinic’s operating budget. You are asked to donate $15. However, if you cannot afford the full donation, whatever you give is welcome. No one is turned away. If you would like to give in another way,  ask about volunteer opportunities.


Who are the doctors and staff?

The doctors and other medical providers, ancillary clinic workers,  and  translators are mostly volunteers from the area. All medical providers are professional and licensed. This is a clinic served by the people of our community for the people of our community and you are welcome to be part of it.
