This clinic means so much to the community…
In Park City, and across America, those with the least wealth have the least means to obtaining health insurance. And due to the high cost of health care, the uninsured simply do not seek medical treatment until a problem is so acute that there is no other choice. The catastrophic results are that pregnant mothers lose babies and their own lives, fathers die of heart attacks, parents become dependent on high doses of insulin – the list goes on and on.
Several years ago Cindy and I learned that, by partnering with the People’s Health Clinic, we could help thousands in our community access medical care. Since then, PHC has grown beyond our expectations. Lives are saved, healthy babies are born, mothers are not dying from complications in childbirth, and parents are treated for diseases before they become acute.
Our community has made the moral decision that the health of the entire community is vital, and contributions have made it possible for PHC to become a professional and impactful service provider. We are so proud of our association with this great organization.
Thank you!

Creative giving from a local family…
September 4, 2009
Dear People’s Health,
Our family is fortunate enough to live across the street from a prime venue for the Sundance Film Festival. This has been our third year where we have been charging patrons to park their cars in our driveway. As a community service, we take the gains and give them to charity. This year our family wanted to focus on local non-profits we thought might be having special difficulty in the economic downturn. We are finally getting around to writing the checks to distribute the funds. In the words of our oldest boy, Charlie, “It is organizations like yours that keep this world a better place for generations to come.”
Thanks for being an important part of Park City. We know you will put this check to good use.
Thank you,
The Halsey Family

Donors meet patients along the way…
December, 2009
Dear People’s Health,
The other day I picked up a hitchhiker, a Jamaican man. He told me he had just come from the Clinic. He said that if it weren’t for the care he receives at PHC, he would despair. He said you are lifesavers. Please accept the enclosed donation, and keep up the good work!
